Sneak Peek into the Future: A Tech Demo of SpaceXpanse Multiverse Features

Introducing libspex, the platform's core C++ library for dApps interaction

We want to finally share with you the upcoming tech demo of libspex, the C++ library that makes it easy to implement decentralized applications (dApps) on the SpaceXpanse ROD blockchain.

As you already know, SpaceXpanse Multiverse is a multiverse platform that provides a convenient solution for developers to put their dApps up to 100% on the blockchain. The ROD blockchain is the decentralized data store that actually enables these decentralized applications. You can learn more about it on the official GitHub repository: https://github.com/SpaceXpanse/libspex.

And libspex is the core of the Game State Processor, or GSP, which takes care of the dApp’s logic: like how moves are processed and new states are created. Libspex takes care of the interaction with the ROD blockchain, much like the smart contracts in some other blockchains, so that developers only have to focus on creating their dApps. Libspex also provides useful features that are not present in most other blockchains.

The tech demo will showcase some of the aspects of libspex, such as:
  • How to compile libspex on Windows or Ubuntu
  • How to interact with the ROD blockchain using libspex
  • How to create a simple dApp using libspex
  • How to query the ROD blockchain like database
  • More..

The tech demo will take place next week. Don't miss this opportunity to learn more about libspex and how it can help you create your awesome dApp on the SpaceXpanse Multiverse platform.

Stay tuned for more updates next week!
